Malaysia Police Fear More Grenade Attacks by Daesh Followers

Daesh sympathizers could be plotting grenade attacks on government offices and public areas across Malaysia, a counterterror police unit chief said Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A grenade blast at the Movida nightclub outside the Southeast Asian nation’s capital of Kuala Lumpur injured eight people in late June. Authorities said that Malaysians fighting alongside Daesh in Syria were behind the bombing.
