The Election Commission urges political parties to accept mixed electoral system

BANGKOK, 10 November 2015 (NNT) – The Election Commission of Thailand (EC) has said the introduction of the mixed electoral system in the draft charter will be easier and less complicated for eligible voters to exercise their rights.

EC Commissioner Somchai Srisuthiyakorn, who is in charge of the elections, said the mixed electoral system will make it more convenient for people to cast their votes, as only one ballot is used.
