Chao Phraya River rises to flood many areas in Bangkok

BANGKOK, Oct 22 – Water from the Chao Phraya River on Saturday has overflowed into several areas of the capital, Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra said, urging officials to warn residents along the river to be on high alert for possible evacuation.

Sukhumbhand and authorities inspected Siriraj Hospital after water pouring in from the Chao Phraya River has spread slowly and breached flood embankments at Siriraj Hospital.
