The boat, which had 14 passengers on board and had departed from Tap Lamung Port for a diving excursion, faced a emergency situation. In response to the vessel’s distress call, the fishing boat Porn Supranee 9 managed to rescue 12 people, bringing them to safety. Despite these efforts, two passengers, one Thai national and the other a foreign tourist, are still missing.

The rescued individuals, numbering 12, were safely returned to shore at noon. Presently, search operations are underway to locate the missing Thai national and foreign tourist. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of diving excursions in the area, prompting authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding the capsizing of the boat.
