PHITSANULOK, 19 July 2014, (NNT) – Several provinces are facing floods resulting from continuous heavy rains triggered by typhoon Rammasun. The tempest also generated dangerous waves at sea, forcing small fishing boats to remain in shore.
Various areas in Phitsanulok Province are being pounded by heavy rain, especially in Prompiram District where strong gusts knocked over a tree, damaging a nearby residence. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident.
