Police step up probes into grenade attacks at Suthep’s home

BANGKOK, 15 April 2014 (NNT) – Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police Pol.Gen.Adul Saengsingkaew has ordered urgent investigations into grenade attacks at the residence of an anti-government protest leader and shootings at security guards of the protest group.

The national police chief and his entourage on Tuesday attended a video conference with the national police operations center. Pol.Gen.Adul was informed of the recent M79 grenade attack at the residence of the core leader of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC), Suthep Thuagsuban, on Phutthamonthon road. It was the fourth time that M79 grenades were fired into the house.
