Anti-government leader shot dead in Bang Na, 9 injured

BANGKOK, Jan 26 – Suthin Tharatin, a core leader of the People’s Democratic Force to Overthrow Thaksinism (PEFOT), was shot dead with at least nine others injured in a clash with Red Shirt supporters near Sri Iam Temple in Bang Na district.

The clash occurred after Mr Suthin led a group of protesters to a polling station at Sri Iam Temple late Sunday morning to call on the director of the polling station to close down advance voting.
