Bangkok: Two arrested in B67m drug haul
A man and a woman were arrested on Tuesday with 40,000 methamphetamine pills and 17.9kg of crystal methamphetamine, or ice, worth about 67.5 million baht in their possession with intent to sell.
Pol Lt-Col Santhan Chayanont, the metropolitan police chief, said drugs police acting on information from informers arrested Sithichoke Chalermritrat, 27, and Chanokporn Thampradit, 21, after they arrived at Sabaidee Serviced Apartment on Borom Ratchonnanee road in Bangkok’s Bang Phlat district.
