The U.S. Navy detected the implosion of the Titan submarine on its sensors on Sunday. The Titan pilot’s wife is the great-great-granddaughter of the Straus, the couple who died on the Titanic and appeared in James Cameron’s film. Physicists and underwater salvage experts describe the Titan implosion: “Like squeezing an empty can with your hand”.
