Narathiwat – A suspected insurgent was killed when he and six other suspects clashed with troops in this southern border province early Saturday.

The clash happened at 4 am when 50 troops and rangers surrounded Putoh village in Tambon Rusoh Ok in Rusoh district following a tip-off that some insurgents were having a meeting there.
