Rohingya, Myanmar migrants rescued in Narathiwat

NARATHIWAT, Feb 6 – Six Rohingya and Myanmar migrants were rescued in the southern border province of Narathiwat in a joint military and police operation.

Fifty personnel from the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC)’s Region 4, military and the Thai Police Immigration Bureau raided six targets in Narathiwat’s Su-ngai Kolok municipality after being informed that major transnational human trafficking agents used these locations to cover themselves.
