A foreign man was fondling a prostitute as they watched fireworks together on Pattaya Beach. But her drunken ex-boyfriend spotted them and threatened the foreigner with a handgun.

A nearby plainclothes officer arrested the jealous Thai, whose homemade pistol was unloaded.
